Returning in 2012 Sloss Furnances!
Children will design cast iron tiles using simple sand molds. Metal artists will fill the completed molds with fiery, molten metal while children watch, hear and smell the furnace at work. As the metal cools it hardens into a cast iron tile for the children to take home.
